File Conversion broken under r1238

When a new version of FLAC comes out, I use Max to convert all of my lossless library to the newer codec.
However File Conversion under r1328 does not seem to output proper filenames when converting FLAC files to the newer FLAC 1.2.1 codec version. It looks like it is unable to read the tags properly and it is outputting numerical values somehow (the FLAC files being converted have all been ripped under Max originally).

Here are file naming examples of what Max will output as converted files:
6386016-6386016 Kif Kif.flac
6386016-6390496 No Time.flac
6386016-6390512 Propagande.flac

Thanks,

Just curious: Why would you do that? Older versions can be played with newer codecs, sound will not improve and possible better compression will be negligible.

I tend to keep my library up to date if a newer version of the codec has some neat feature in store (support for Album Art for example).

- You wrote r1238 but I suppose you are using r1328 (?)
- Does the problem only happen with the file names and are the tags themselves written to the converted files correctly?
- Which are your settings for the output file name format?

I am seeing the same behavior when ripping/encoding a CD. I am using the default naming scheme. If I select a scheme things work properly, but there's no way to tell it to use Compilations when using a specific naming scheme.

Sorry for the delay, I haven't had the chance to test this out further until today. I am indeed using r1328, oops!

The tags are being written properly, only the filenames are affected. I too am using the default naming scheme.

I've fixed the file naming bugs in svn, a new unstable will be posted soon.

Good news!

Downloaded r1337, tested, problem solved!

Thank you!
