Hi Stephen,
Thanks for the quick reply. No I didn't use the script in your link. I used the one higher up in this thread by metaclam.
I will try the one in your link and post back.
Thanks again for the great programs.

Re: Gracenote integration
Hi Stephen,
The script in the link wasn't working and giving me an error:
"Applescript Error
Max got an error: Can't set date of track 1 of document "DnjdsC0CYcVs0kQRqv5k30RrTD8-.cdinfo" to "2007" "
I compared the script to Metaclam's. That one used "year" instead of "date" in 2 places. I changed "date" in your script to "year" and now it fills in all fields except disc ___ of ___ .
I'm using Leopard 10.5.2.
Thanks for your help.
Sue

Re: Gracenote integration
Which build of Max? Might need the "latest unstable."

I'm using Version 0.7.1

Re: Gracenote integration
The latest version of the script (including "date" instead of "year") is written for the latest "unstable" versions of Max, not for 0.7.1.

Thanks Fuga and RonaldPR for the info.
If I use the latest unstable build, will the script as written also fill in the disc __ of __ fields?
Are there any downsides of using the latest unstable build?

Re: Gracenote integration
Can't speak to the first as I haven't messed with it yet.
As to the last, "unstable" is a very misleading term. If you're worried, make a copy of your prefs and ~/Library/Application Support/Max files and do not delete the current Max.

Re: Gracenote integration
I installed 0.8b and now Stephen's script fills in everything except it puts "?" in total discs.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks,
Sue

Nope. Sorry.
