Question on Converting 24/96 FLAC Files
Question on Converting 24/96 FLAC Files
I have been using MAX for quite sometime to convert FLAC files to Apple Lossless. In recent months I have begun purchasing a number of titles in 24/96 FLAC and converting those to Apple Lossless. My question is when I use MAX to convert these 24/96 files to Apple Lossless do they remain 24 bit or are they being downsampled to 16 bit?
Re: Question on Converting 24/96 FLAC Files
The idea is that they remain 24-bit. There were bugs in some earlier versions of Max that downsampled the files to 16-bit, but if you are using the latest unstable version things should work correctly.
