Post by naicidrac » Mon Apr 25, 2011 3:39 am

I am trying to convert a FLAC to MP3 and I am getting this error "LAME only supports one or two channel input" I am not sure how to remedy this.

Thanks,

How many channels are in the FLAC file you're converting?

I am sorry. I am new to music encoding. How can I tell how many channels my FLAC is? Am I able to take it down to 1 or 2 channels if it is more?

I read on the output and it says "flac -f --channel-map=none -8 *.wav"

Thanks again
