Re: Snow Leopard
Thank You Stephen for the quick update on Max, I think I can say all of us loyal Max users really appreciate it.

Re: Snow Leopard
I had no problem with autoupdate, I ran Max yesterday and I was greeted with a update message and I proceeded to download. Download and Install went successful.
Re: Snow Leopard
Well, that's good news. It isn't working for me at all for updates from 0.9 to 0.9.1
Which version did you update from? Which OS version are you using?

Re: Snow Leopard
Update worked automagically for me...
Thanks again!

Re: Snow Leopard
It's not working for me either. 0.8.x -> 0.9 worked fine, 0.9 -> 0.9.1 is not working. 10.5.8 PPC.sbooth wrote:Well, that's good news. It isn't working for me at all for updates from 0.9 to 0.9.1

I receive the alert of a new version, it downloads fine but pushing the 'Install and relaunch' button always results in an install error.
Re: Snow Leopard
Same here. Update downloads fine and then when I press OK to install and relaunch, I get an error. Any ideas?
Re: Snow Leopard
I believe I've narrowed this down to a bug in Sparkle (the updater that Max uses). Right now the only workaround is to download the new versions manually.
Re: Snow Leopard
No biggie, but on my machine there is currently some problem with Sparkle that prevents me from being able to build from source (perhaps I'm doing it wrong?).
Re: Snow Leopard
Worked around this problem by deleting the reference to Sparkle from the Xcode project and then building. m.mattn wrote:No biggie, but on my machine there is currently some problem with Sparkle that prevents me from being able to build from source (perhaps I'm doing it wrong?).
