iTunes Metadata Applescript error

Post by tarhoy » Sat Jun 28, 2008 6:07 pm

No metadata available to Max (0.8.1) through Musicbrainz, so have downloaded metadata via iTunes (7.6.2 (9)), which is all present and correct. On running the iTunes Metadata Applescript the only field in Max to be populated is the title of the first track - no Cd name or artist etc.. The following message is displayed:-

Get iTunes Metadata. Can't make date of <<class Trck>> 1 of document "DxqgVWSBF94si2BRSwXvG8uU5xm-.cdinfo" of application "Max" into type reference. Edit / OK.

Same type of error occurs with a different Cd. Mac OS is 10.4.11. Any ideas on how I can get the script to work?

Thanks, tarhoy.

Got it sorted. The script downloaded with Max was not working. I have now copied the script from http://forums.sbooth.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1930 and the compiled script is now OK.
