Max 0.9.2b2 Available

The current unstable version is Max-0.9.2b2 as of 5 March 2020.

After a hiatus of nearly a decade I'm thrilled to announce that a new beta version of Max is available.

macOS 10.7 (Lion) or later is required.

Major changes in this version include:

• Upgraded to the latest versions of the FLAC, Vorbis, APE, and lame codecs
• Improved MusicBrainz support
• Native macOS notifications
• 64-bit build

• Core Audio output formats allow setting of quality and bitrate
• Ripping no longer generates ExtAudioFileCreateWithURL errors
