Attention new users- spam control measures

If you would like to register for an account on these forums, please e-mail me at sbooth dot org with your preferred account name, etc. Due to ridiculous spam problems automated new registrations are suspended indefinitely.

As of 1 Mar 11, I've relaxed the registration process to allow self-registration. However, all new users must have their first two posts approved by a moderator before they will be visible on the forums. After two posts have been approved, you will be able to post freely. Hopefully this will be a good compromise between the draconian system I had in place previously (which almost killed the forums) and spam prevention.
