Adjust sample rate for best quality stops decibel
When I choose "Adjust sample rate for best quality" in preferences decibel is not working if the output device does not support the sample rate of the file. So when I try to play a file with 192 kHz through built-in output of my iMac, decibel will not play it (because iMac supports only 96 kHz), and when I try to play a file higher than 48 kHz trough my MM-1 by B&W, decibel will not play it, because the MM-1 supports only 48 kHz). I had exspected that decibel would play the files but downsizes the sound format. At least this is the way e. g. other apps handle it.

Re: Adjust sample rate for best quality stops decibel
Thank you comely for this link. But that does not seem to be my problem. Decibel does not work when "Adjust sample rate for best quality" is set, if the output device does not support the sample rate of the file.
