License Details & Mavericks
License Details & Mavericks
I am using Decibel under the trial period and I am quite impressed. I have a few more hours left but I am definitely leaning towards buying a license. Very nice program. I have two questions: 1) Does the license permit using Decibel on more than one computer? 2) Do you have any information on how Decibel works under OSX Mavericks? I just saw a posting on Computer Audiophile that Decibel works in Integer Mode under Mavericks, is this true? Thanks.

Decibel seems to be working fine with Mavericks.
BTW, Mavericks was a dog. The guy who "discovered" the surf spot named it after his dog. Therefore, there should be an apostrophe in Maverick(')s

You may use Decibel on your personal computers with the same license.
I've been to Mavericks near Half Moon Bay. I never was brave enough to surf it!

Are you using integer mode with your DAC? Does it sound different?gbroagfran wrote:Decibel seems to be working fine with Mavericks.

I don't know if I am using integer mode or not, I have asynchronous USB DACs in my main system and a USB/SPDIF connector in my car and garage systems. You should get the engineer to clarify how to use this mode, I thought it was always in effect.
I haven't surfed Mavericks either, but I surfed some x-lg O.B. and Montara. These days, mostly Sewer Peak.
