Can someone please help me. I cloned my MacBook Pro Drive and Decibel was in my Applications Folder but when I went to play a track it wouldn't play. I then used AppCleaner to trash it and its preferences figuring that I could downloaded again from the App Store where I first purchased it. Well today when I clicked on "Purchases" there for some unknown reason it could not connect. I therefore fished the app and its Preferences that App Cleaner found and put them back in my user/Preferences. There was however a folder That said "DECIBEL" I looked inside the folder to see what was within. I saw a file that said "Appstore Receipts" I didn't know where to put the file as the Finder didn't reveal where it is supposed to go. I there fore put it in my user/preferences along with the 2 preference files. I have a suspicion that it should go somewhere else. Maybe Mr. Booth can help me on this. I looked in /Receipts and in/App Support but I have a feeling it doesn't belong there either.
The "App Store Receipts" folder is something the MAS version of Decibel creates so you can update to the latest versions off of the website without having to wait to Apple to approve them. You don't really need it; the receipts are copied automatically at startup as necessary.
