Sorting order and no way back
Sorting order and no way back
DB 1.2.3: After establishing a playlist, when I sort with a column header, there is no way back to the origin order of the playlist. Only the deletion of the preference file helps. Is there a method of resolution for this?
Re: Sorting order and no way back
There is- you can use the "Clear Sort Order" menu item in the File menu.
Re: Sorting order and no way back
Yes, this command deactivates the sort order of the column. But it does not restore the origin order (e. g. made by "Add selection of iTunes").
Re: Sorting order and no way back
Ah, I understand now. There is no way to restore the original playlist order once you've sorted the tracks- they have to be re-added.
Re: Sorting order and no way back
Unfortunately in 1.2.6 there is still the same issue
Please note, that one can work on playlists (in Decibel, not iTunes) for several hours (like me for special events), and then after sorting a column, or maybe when sorting without intention, the playlist will be lost!
I would appreciate a lot if this problem gets solved. Thanks in advance!
