Thank you!!
It will be better just to update or delete and install from the beginning?

It shouldn't matter- if you can launch Decibel the auto-updater will work just fine, or you can download it manually and replace the app. You shouldn't need to delete any data.

If you click Discard the crash report will be deleted off of your drive and you shouldn't be prompted again, unless you have a ton of crash reports piled up.

That won't help. What's probably happening is that there are multiple crash reports for Decibel on your drive, and every time you launch Decibel is locating the newest one remaining. You can manually delete them- they are located in ~/Library/Logs/CrashReporter

Along with the Logs/crashreporter it needed to delete also the logs/diagnosticreports.
It is ok now! Thnx!!!!

Hi Steve!
I'm having a problem with Decibel at the moment. It crashes every single time i try to open it. The real problem is that it does not open any longer. Everything is ok playing with Itunes, this means that my Echo AF2 perfectly works.
I tried do uninstall the software and reinstall it just afterward but nothing happened.
What can I could try to do?
Best regards,
Fausto

What is going on???
Hi there
Same problem for me...Not able to run Decibel 1.1 for a couple of days now. Decibel would crash immediately and doesn't even give me the chance to have a look at the crash logs. Reinstalled the soft several times and deleted the logs/crashreporters but still... Any idea?

I am crashing immediately upon opening Decibel. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but does not fix the problem. The error report says that decibel closed unexpectedly. I cannot send it because it flashes on the screen and then shuts down and only allows a report to be sent to Apple. Deletion of playlist per old posts seems to work, am using latest version 1.1
Thanks

Please delete the playlist file in ~/Library/Application Support/Decibel/Playlist.plist. This should fix the immediate crashing problem. Then, in preferences uncheck the "Remember between launches" option for the playlist. This should get everything working until I release 1.2.

It was giving me fits until I found this thread. Eliminating both sets of files did the trick. Thanks for the support!

I just updated to 1.2.1 and still crashes!
I had to delete the iTunes plugin again to prevent the crash...

Do you have a non-standard OS X installation? The only thing I can see that would cause a crash is if your home directory doesn't exist.

Hi Steven!

Same here. 1.2.1 still crashing. Had to get rid of the itunes plugin. Itunes library is on an external HD.

Hope that helps.

Best regards
