It doesn't seem to make a difference whether I have the box checked or not, Rip will still throw a track away if it encounters problems. There appears to be no way to get a "best effort" extraction. On the track in question, I get 59 C2 errors, Rip hangs for a while, I get an "Operation could not be completed. Input/Output Error" message, and Rip quits. No extraction retries are attempted and no log is generated, even with the log level set to debug, or I would give you one.
Worse, Rip will throw away everything, including perfectly good tracks, when it does so. It doesn't seem right that Rip throws away tracks that were extracted just fine when it encounters a problem.
