Update 3 Dec 2008: Rip-1.0pb2 is now available.
With just 11 minutes left in the weekend, I've posted private beta 1 of Rip. Please download the file from http://files.sbooth.org/Rip/Rip-1.0pb1.zip and give it a shot!
Please note that this is a debug build and will only run on Intel Macs. I ran into an issue with the release build (a 64-bit problem I think) that I was unable to resolve in time. If anyone needs a PPC build please let me know and I will post one.
It's open season on the app! Please give me honest and candid feedback on what you like, what you don't like, what works, what doesn't, etc. Rip is barely out of the design stage so nothing is sacred or fixed at this point. Discussions here are highly encouraged as are feature requests and bug reports. The only request I have is that any bug reports or feature requests also be entered at http://rip.uservoice.com for tracking purposes.
Edit: A 64-bit Universal binary is now available as well: http://files.sbooth.org/Rip/Rip-1.0pb1-Debug64.zip

I'll need a PPC build when you get a chance. I've got several PPC Macs around, but haven't upgraded to an Intel one yet.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: Rip-1.0pb2 Posted
I've just posted 1.0pb2, which doesn't add any new features but should hopefully fix the two main crashers found so far. Encoding using any of the supplied codecs should work.
