I just downloaded Max-0.6.1 onto my PowerBook G4 running 10.4.8. I tried converting a .mp4 file, which is audio only, and received an error message "The call to ExtAudioFileDispose failed."
Has any had this problem and do you know of a solution?
Thanks!

Thanks for the information.
The problem is similar to the bug you sent me, but I am not using a custom conversion. Also, all the characters in the filename are 7-bit ASCII .
The file is an .mp4 generated by Compressor2 that I am trying to convert. iTunes has no trouble converting this file.

Is the audio contained in an MP4 movie soundtrack?

The audio is from a movie soundtrack. I made the file from a DV movie file using the "aac" setting in Compressor2 .
