File conversion (from .wma to .mp3) worked once, but not any more... now when I select Convert Files... from the File menu, I can select a Directory (Folder) and press the [Open] button, but none of the files in the folder are loading into the "File Conversion" window!?!
What might I be doing wrong? I am running OS X 10.5 (Leopard) and I have "mp3" checked as my Formats preference.

Max doesn't support WMA files natively. Did you install a third party tool that added WMA support to QuickTime or Core Audio?

Well, not specifically. I had Flip4Mac installed earlier to support Windows Video in Safari, but I didn't do anything in particular for WMA support in QuickTime.

That is what Flip4Mac does, enable QuickTime to play Windows Media. The accompanying internet plugin enables QuickTime playback of Windows Media in your web browser. However, it works with QuickTime 7, not with QuickTime 10. As you are still in Leopard, it will probably work for you if you install it again.
