Compilation Attribute not Sticking with ALAC

I'm ripping a compilation and importing into iTunes. In Max 0.6.1 I've ticked the Compilation checkbox. I can see it's being encoded into the correct iTunes directory (under Compilations).

There it is as track 2-05 because it's still being encoded. However after the encoding has completed it is moved out of the Compilations directory.

Resetting the Compilations dropdown to Yes in iTunes fixes everything. Is this a known problem with Max?
