Max quits unexpectedly

I am trying to encode shn files to apple loosless. This morning it worked fine. Now, evrytime I try to convert a file the app unexpectedly quits. I rebooted my mac thisafternoon but this started before I did so. I had 2 security updates from Apple & an iTunes update. I reinstalled max.app & it still crashes. Please help. Thank you.

There is a bug in the shorten decoder that causes a crash if more than one shorten file is decoded at once. Converting one shorten file at a time should work correctly, though.
