I want to do something sooo simple: Burn some tunes onto an Audio CD in WAV format. Toast and iTunes keep burning AIFF disks -- even when I've converted the files to WAV!
There's got to be a simple solution I'm not seeing. Would Fission work?
Thoughts please?http://forums.sbooth.org/posting.php?mode=post&f=15#
Thanks

PS: Ok....I did it. I said I'd never put a "smilie" in a message and I did. I'm going to hell for sure! @#%^^&^*http://forums.sbooth.org/posting.php?mode=post&f=15#

Burn to WAV?!
Re: Burn to WAV?!
An Audio CD is not in AIFF format or WAV format. It is in Audio CD format. It doesn't contain any files in any format. It isn't a data disk! It's an Audio CD.nurleymon wrote:I want to do something sooo simple: Burn some tunes onto an Audio CD in WAV format. Toast and iTunes keep burning AIFF disks
If you want WAV files on a CD, burn a data CD, not an Audio CD.
Final piece of the puzzle: an Audio CD's tracks are *shown* to you as AIFF files by the Mac OS Finder, but that is an illusion. If they were really AIFF files, you wouldn't need Max or Rip to copy them off properly!
Hope that helps...
