What's the difference/use between Play and Cog?
What's the difference/use between Play and Cog?
I have yet to find one. Why not combine or work on one project together?
Re: What's the difference/use between Play and Cog?
For one thing, Cog doesn't try to manage your music library, making it much more lightweight, whereas Play does, making it more useful to people that like to have their music library managed. I think of it this way: Cog is a lightweight version of winamp for OSX and Play is a lightweight version of iTunes. Same philosophy about footprints and ease-of-use, but totally different approaches about the role of a music player. All I need now is an OSX version of Foobar2k.
