Hi new to the forum, been using Play for over 5 months now and very happy. Just updated to (1071) and version seems to have issue with vrb display. Instead it shows 128 kps regardless the encode. Unstable version does same, is this common issue ?? 192 and 320 kps are fine just vrb is displayed wrong.
I did a search in the forum but found no hits , could someone tell me if this will be addressed ? can i download previous version?

On another note .ape format files are having trouble when changing tracks they app freezes and wont respond and has to be force quit.

IS ANY MOD GOING TO REPLY ?????
Re: bitrate display for (1071)
The issues with APE files not progressing to the next track has been fixed in r1072.
There were problems previously with database updates to Play and the bitrate not carrying over correctly. Does the bitrate for new files added to the library show up correctly?

Re: bitrate display for (1071)
I have this problem as well. I just ripped a CD with Max in VBR MP3, and they all show up in Play as being 128kbps MP3s. iTunes, however tells me that they are in fact VBR. It would be nice if Play showed the correct bitrate for VBR Mp3s and also if it could display the changes in bitrate in realtime as the tracks play.
