Copy Image functional under 1.0b5 ?

Hi,

I have tried the Copy Image function using the FLAC encoder option but it produces separate files under Rip 1.0b5. Shouldn't it be producing a FLAC image instead ?

Thanks,

Re: Secure ripping

Stephen, could you describe the difference between cdparanoia at Full paranoia and the Comparison Ripper ?

Am I alone in thinking only one ripper option (the best) should be proposed ? Are there any scenarios where one ripper would be better than the other two ?

Thanks,

Re: Cannot resize Ripper window while ripping under r1337

To get rid of that error it is necessary to delete the org.sbooth.Max.plist file in ~/Library/Preferences.
The menu is still grayed out and the Ripper window inacessible even after having deleted the org.sbooth.Max.plist file. Any idea ?

Thanks,

Cannot resize Ripper window while ripping under r1337

The problem does not seem to affect other windows (I can resize the Encoder properly while encoding), but I cannot resize the Ripper window properly while Max r1337 is ripping. Edit: I cannot resize the window properly once the ripping has been completed either. Upon restarting Max r1337, I seem to ...

Re: FLAC Picture Metadata Support in Tag

Me too! I always double-check my FLAC tags within Tag. I would love to be able to change album art without having to recompress files within Max.

Re: File Conversion broken under r1238

I've fixed the file naming bugs in svn, a new unstable will be posted soon.
Good news!

Downloaded r1337, tested, problem solved!

Thank you!

Re: File Conversion broken under r1238

- You wrote r1238 but I suppose you are using r1328 (?) - Does the problem only happen with the file names and are the tags themselves written to the converted files correctly? - Which are your settings for the output file name format? Sorry for the delay, I haven't had the chance to test this out ...

Re: File Conversion broken under r1238

Just curious: Why would you do that? Older versions can be played with newer codecs, sound will not improve and possible better compression will be negligible. I tend to keep my library up to date if a newer version of the codec has some neat feature in store (support for Album Art for example). Ch...

File Conversion broken under r1238

When a new version of FLAC comes out, I use Max to convert all of my lossless library to the newer codec. However File Conversion under r1328 does not seem to output proper filenames when converting FLAC files to the newer FLAC 1.2.1 codec version. It looks like it is unable to read the tags properl...
