Re: FLAC 1.2 how to update the component in Max

I believe you should be able to build Max with an updated FLAC framework.
Pull the Max and FLAC source codes and play with them. ;)

You're most welcome!
It would be great if Max got access to the AccurateRip database.

Max would probably need drive offset capability as well though.

The AccurateRip database are used by EAC and dbpoweramp. But its sadly limited to MS Windows only, and hence not possible to use in Max. :( Any chance of seeting accuraterip integrated into Max? Not really, because it is Windows only and they solely provide a binary (dll) interface. I looked into it...

Ok, then. ;)
But it don't make sense to ABX two files with identical sample rate and size. PCM vs. 24/192 sort of makes sense though.

An ABX application are used to performed blind comparison tests between two audio files. * One file being the lossless source. PCM (WAV or AIFF), Apple Lossless, FLAC, etc. * The other file being compressed by a lossy encoder. MP3, AAC, MusePack, etc. It would be great if it had these features: * Lo...

I know its not the solution you want. But why not transcode the Shorten files to a more popular codec? Like Apple Lossless or FLAC...

I feel that Play is ready for its 0.1 release now. It have all the basic features and seems very stable. Ok, I have experienced lots of crashes when going from one revision to another. But deleting the Library.sqlite3 have taken care of those. There are still features to add (volume control, play we...

Bug or by design? (Design changed = fixed)

I believe this to be a bug. Make sure you have a track in your Play Queue, then drag and drop a track from the Library into the Play Queue. Notice how the track will be appended below the existing one. Then drag and drop a file from Finder into the Play Queue. Notice how it replace off of the existi...
