Lets say I decode a FLAC file, with no metadata, to Wave. Using this output file naming format: {albumArtist}/{albumTitle}/{trackNumber}. {trackTitle} Since there are no {trackNumber} data the resulting file will start with a . (punctuation), and hence be hidden to the user. It would be great if Max...
I rip my CD's to separate Apple Lossless files, using Max. WIth an output file naming like this: {albumArtist}/{albumTitle}/{trackNumber}. {trackTitle} Then import the tracks to iTunes, where I embed album art (from iTunes Store) and edit tags if needed. At last I use 'rsyns' to sync my iTunes libra...
I've installed SVN and mac's dev tools. How do I go about building / compiling MAX? Check the "Developers" part on the Max homepage. http://www.sbooth.org/Max/ In short: svn co https://macaudiox.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/macaudiox/trunk trunk cd trunk/Frameworks/ ./build-frameworks.sh cd .. xcode...
Stephen. This "might" be good news...
ARCue, the multiplatform AccurateRip checksum script, have just been ported from Perl to C++. Maybe that makes it easier to integrate AccurateRip into Max?
Thanks! Revision 1281 now encodes to Apple Lossless. So seems like its fixed. But I still get the "No output formats are selected" warning. Open Max, add audio track(s) to the "File Convertion" window and click "Convert": http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/5586/picture1vi7.th.jpg Pressing Cmd+f open...
I actually decided to abandon Leopard after a week of wasting time with it, so Max is back up and running just fine :D Guess I can consider myself lucky. Cause of all applications I use I only have problems with Max. Every other application, and the OS itself, works without any issues so far. I am ...
What I want to know, is there a way to get Max in it's current state to convert FLACS to Apple Lossless under Leopard? No. Max are in its current state unable to encode to MPEG-4 audio. But the sources are freely available. So if you have the knowledge everything is possible... This is a huge bumme...
As I posted earlier, there is a bug in Leopard that affects encoding to all m4a formats, in particular MPEG-4 (AAC) and MPEG-4 (Apple Lossless). I am still implementing a workaround, but until it's committed, encoding to any MPEG-4 format will not work on Leopard. Sorry, I missed that note. But now...
My numbers, for music files that is (I have test tone files down to 2kbps)...
Most = 297kbps. "Grieg: Stemninger Op.73, No.4 (Folketone)" - Leif Ove Andsnes
Least = 1179kbps. "The Unvaluable Darkness" - Dimmu Borgir
On the other scale I have a file at 6470kbps as well. A 24bit, 192.000Khz jazz track.
Tried with fresh preferences and only Apple Lossless format, but still no go. Any clues? Try checking and unchecking the encoder you want to use in the new Formats window (command-F). Ahaa.I did not know there were a new Formats window. Especially not since the "Show preferences" button on the warn...
