You can keep play queue entries between sessions by turning on the 'Save on exit' option in the General prefs. Ticking 'Save on exit' took care of this task. Sorry, I totally missed that preference... It seems that dropping files on the Play Queue table works as expected (as illustrated by remain),...

They are not in the Revision 653 build I downloaded from here: http://sbooth.org/files/Play-r653.tar.bz2 Edit: Remain, are you certain you know the difference between the Play Queue and the Library? I did not know until last week.. ;) As of now the files have to be added to the Library first, then l...

Two requested features... (Fulfilled)

I have two requested Play features: 1. Drag and drop files/folder directly to the Play Queue from Finder. 2. Keep Play Queue entries through sessions. #1 is partly working today. Meaning I can drag and drop files to the Play Queue window (the green (+) icon show up), but the tracks will only be adde...

The split window between Library and Queue seems like nice. I am looking forward to see how it will function. I will hopefully be able to use it this way: 1. Drag the separator all the way to the bottom, so its showing the Queue only. 2. Drag audio files or folders to the Queue directly from Finder....

Why not make the Play Queue an additional feature? Meaning that you add files to the queue in other ways than double-click (its already in the context menu), and use it if you like. Then restore playing and display capability to the Library, identical to the ones we now find in the Play Queue. That ...

I just reported the resulting of this "feature" as a bug. The age old question: is it a bug or is it a feature? I know, I know... I respect your choices, and are graceful for all the work you put into developing these nice application (Max and Play). But I am sad to see that Play no longer are the ...

I just reported the resulting of this "feature" as a bug. In my opinion its totally wrong to not allow the user to play the files he add to the Play window (Library). This procedure work on any audio player I know (iTunes, Cog, Foobar2000, ...): 1. Open the player. 2. Drag and drop audio files to th...

How are you adding the files to the Play queue? Also, are you switching to the Play queue before double-clicking the track? Now I understand. There is a difference between Library and Queue... The "Browser" panel don't show up by default, so I have actually never seen it. ;) I simply drag and drop ...

I'm at a loss for the behavior you're talking about for the play queue, but I've added the progress indicator you requested in r619. Can you post step-by-step instructions for me to reproduce the strange issue(s) you're having with the queue? I can't get the behavior you're describing. I can reprod...

Re: Trunk issues and regressions

If you double-click a song in the Play Queue it should always play. Double-clicking a song anywhere will add it to the Play Queue, and play it if the queue is empty. The same thing goes for the next track button- it only reflects the status of streams in the play queue. Is this not what you are see...

apoc_metal. According to the Max source code (in this case MP3SettingsSheet.m), these are the LAME flags for the different quality settings. Best = "-b 320" Transparent = Quality 80 Portable = Quality 50 Quality 40, Fast mode (-V6 --vbr-new) (~115 kbps) Quality 50, Fast mode (-V5 --vbr-new) (~130 kb...

Trunk issues and regressions

I have found these issues with the later trunk builds: 1. Songs in the playlist don't start when double-clicked. Correction, the first one do play but not the next ones... 2. The next track button ( >| ) don't seem to work correctly. It stay grey most of the time, even if there are a lot more tracks...

I haven't tried Java ABC/HR, but it should work on OS X. It's not Cocoa, but it is something! I have ABC/HR for Java running. But it is far from perfect on Mac OS X. * Nasty popping noise when switching between audio streams. * Only accept Wave files. No lossless (ALAC, FLAC, ...) or lossy (MP3, AA...
