expired beta v1.0b5

Just downloaded it and got the expiration error. Earlier today I downloaded the release version from fiestydog (Is that a Pug?! - love me some pugs) but was having some issues with it. When saving all files after doing various tagging, Tag would crash. No report to be found anywhere. No notice sayin...

Re: newbie

As in any Mac application, move pointer to one of the vertical lines. When the pointer changes to a vertical line with arrows going left and right you the slide L or R.

Re: Transitioning from iTunes to Decibel

Hmmm, I wonder if Fluke could be enlisted here. It doesn't meet my needs because all it's really doing is converting, needlessly taking space and processing and thus unable to play gaplessly (though is better on higher powered machines). But it doesn't do that until the file is actually played in iT...

Re: Integer mode in Decibel?

I'm quoting myself here: If exclusive access is enabled and the DAC supports integer input, Decibel will send audio to the DAC as integers. In exclusive mode, as the name implies, Decibel has complete control over the audio device and what audio is sent to it. So long as you enable exclusive access...

Re: OGG files not supported??

Not at all. You can load as many as you want then hit the convert button.
I prefer to drag a batch from a Finder window into the Convert window.

Guess Tags function

One of the primary uses of the original Tag. Can't seem to find similar in new Tag.

Re: Decibel and Airfoil (again)

Yes, you've told me but I must say again that all is fine when Airfoil is not in the sequence. FLAC on Swinsian is flawless.

Re: Decibel and Airfoil (again)

All I know is FLAC through Swinsian has no glitches. FLAC through any other player then Airfoil will have glitches. So Swinsian must converting to ALAC before sending whereas Decibel/Audirvana/Cog/whatever starts to send FLAC, and keeps doing it, and Airfoil says "Oh, crap! Can't you wait a sec whil...

Re: Decibel and Airfoil (again)

Sure would explain the glitches, whether using Decibel or Cog or whatever. Now FLAC on Swinsian over wireless is flawless as it leverages Airplay.

That will be very much appreciated.

Don't hesitate to call if you need any beta testing.

And, what is it about you and Miss Swift? Does Mrs. Booth know?

Re: Newbie Question, convert FLAC to high quality file for i

MPEG4 Audio (Apple Lossless) is what you want - only lossless that iTunes will play. You can play FLACs using Fluke but it's lousy for gapless playback and generally is a band aide.
