I guess I should clarify: I'm ripping to Apple Lossless (MP4) when I encounter this problem.

Any songs I rip in Max to lossless crash my iPod 3 seconds into the song. I have to reboot the iPod completely.

I have a 3G iPod, using the latest versions of iTunes, QuickTime, and iPod software, OS 10.4.3.

Can anyone else confirm this issue?
