I have started ripping my CDs to a single file with CUE sheet as my WDTV doesn't support gapless playback. Sorry, but could you clarify? The box says "allow extraction failure" not "extraction failure not allowed." What I am getting is that if the box is checked, Rip will "fail" the rip and stop the extraction or notify you that it can't complete. If it is not checked, Rip will continue ripping, even wit...

There is no hidden DSP in iTunes unless you are using the EQ settings. Whether I use Songbird to play FLACs or iTunes to play Apple Lossless files on my Mac through my AV receiver using an optical cable they both sound identical using either program. Which WAV format?

Hi there, I'm using Max to convert a bunch of material from Apple Lossless to WAV. Which is the recommended setting to use? Is "signed 16bit PCM" the same as the 44.1/16bit CD standard? It's important because I may burn CDs using the WAVS that will be played in a standalone CD player. Cheers, Mark
