Re: Flac - First track not recognized with slimserver

I'm curious. Are you ripping each track to a separate file or the whole disk to 1 file? The latter works for me, but SlimServer only seems to know the album name. I was hoping it might be able to look up the tracks.

Looks like the offsets are correct now, though Cog and your own Tag application don't seem to recognize the embedded FLAC tags. XLD does, but it appears all the track names are "Track n," etc. I'll search the forums and submit a bug if necessary.

Without metadata, I think you would lose the disc identifier that's used by freeedb and cddb, for example. A good solution would be rip to a single flac file. Flac gives approximately 2x compression and contains embedded metadata. Some audio players (WinAmp, Squeezebox) can make it appear as separat...

Resolved:Cue offsets incorrect

Hi all, I've just started to use Max however the cue offsets are incorrect. For example, on one CD, tracks 1 and 2 are 4:23 and 4:53, respectively, but the cue sheet says track 3 begins at 9:01. Obviously it should begin no earlier than 9:16 (4:23 + 4:53.) This is a problem for both mp3 cue sheets a...
