Re: Column identifiers used with NSTableView autosave feature
Sorry; false alarm. I succeeded in using the delete preferences script supplied with the MAX application. I also ran the delete CD info script. I actually had tried this before without success, but for whatever reason, THIS time it DID work. I now successfully has ripped the disc which earlier refus...

Column identifiers used with NSTableView autosave feature
Column identifiers used with NSTableView autosave feature must conform to NSCoding protocol. A ripping or encoding operation is already in progress. http://sbooth.org/tracker/view.php?id=366 (0000470) sbooth 11-21-07 18:16 Please try deleting Max's preferences and .cdinfo files and see if that fixes...

Re: LEOPARD Compatibility
Regarding "unstable version" Stephen Booth wrote in another thread the following words of wisdom: [quote="sbooth"]Generally I try to post only builds that are in fairly good working order unless I need feedback or testing on a specific feature. I call them unstable because they do not yet contain al...

Re: LEOPARD Compatibility
I am happily enjoying full Max vs. Leopard compatibility by using the "unstable version" of Max as suggested by Stephen Booth in another thread in this forum: [quote="sbooth"]If you are running Leopard please use the unstable version posted on the Max website- 0.7.1 is not Leopard compatible so I'm ...

Re: Apple Lossless
Thanks RonaldPR and sorry for not searching enough or reading all threads herein before I rushed to post "my" suggestion ;-) At least we now are two (and I suspect many more are with us) to ask for this alteration to "Formats". As many others, I want to use Max for highest quality ripping (the Mac a...

Apple Lossless
I think it is not so intuitive that under "Formats" Apple CAF - Apple Lossless gives .caf files that cannot be played in iTunes, while under MPEG4 Audio the Apple Lossless .m4a files are found. Would it be possible that in the next release of Max Apple Lossless for iTunes are labeled more intuitivel...

Lacking Cue Sheet & File Naming
I am attempting to use Max 0.7.1 under Leopard; from today with 10.5.1. I have the same problem as others with lack of access to format conversion until a solution for Leopard is found. I am a "high-end audio" user that want the highest quality rip possible, and will only use lossless formats. I hav...

Re: Do you have a better name for Max?

MaxFidelity is my suggestion for the new name. It relates to the original Max name, and it is an evolution. Finally; it is also quite descriptive.
It is possible someone else out there is using it for something, but hopefully not for any computer software application.
