The Recently Added, Played, etc. are just meant to be another way to look at what's in your Library. I don't envision these being customizable, with the possible exception of the number of tracks to display in each. I see that you care much about logic. It's a good principle to respect, but that li...

BTW 1: The "Date Added" column is already there. Sorry, I missed that. This addition seems to be brought with the r804 update (May 13). I had done a first request just day before. Thanks to sbooth. Wouldn't that make the "Recently Added" list almost identical to the full Library list? You can sort ...

I note that, in Play, all the selection lists make it possible to remove titles which are at the same time removed from the library . Contrary to the Play Queue and Playlists, in which the removed titles are preserved in library . I am planning to propose a solution which, without really making the...

A more powerful “Recently Added” directory
I note that, in Play, all the selection lists make it possible to remove titles which are at the same time removed from the library . Contrary to the Play Queue and Playlists, in which the removed titles are preserved in library . Among those selection lists, the “Recently Added” seems very appropri...

Re: Suggestion: Making the Library OPTIONAL
Not everyone uses the Library concept to browse and organize music. Let us return at the beginning. You see in the Play Queue of Play an excellent music player and you would like to be able to manage it in your own way and preserve it between launches. And you would not like to see (or imagine) a l...

Works fine too! I get “07-05-11” in place of “Mai 11, 2007”. It is still an english format, but it's the one defined in the 'International' system preference pane for French Canada. And it is simpler than the abbreviations for the months. I am surprised by the format 44.100 Hz. Here too, comma is us...

You're right, it's the US date format. But it's the same for iTunes and many other programs. It is difficult to be completly free of the American prevalence. On the other hand, I obtain the good format in Playlist information and Track information (except the accents) : Mercredi 9 mai 2007 19 h 47 m...

I like Cog , a simple player which uses only 10 MB , but it does not read Apple Lossless (M4a), the format of reference for Apple and, in my opinion, the format of the future. There is also iTunes with 75 MB , but it does not read Flac, Ape, ogg and several others. Songbird , superb, but very heavy ...

A pref to have the Library correspond to whatever is in the Play Queue. This solution meets one part of my expectations, but do not improve at all the management of the library which I much value and which is the essential of this program. I prefer to consider a more global solution, like that of M...

Another alternative would be to make Play add only files from certain directories. Something in the line of: "Only add to library if found in:" and a dialog to choose specific folders. The solution that you propose corresponds exactly to my expectations. A library managed very easily and in a very ...

Oh, it's not so simple! Good for mai (in French), but for the others, I had to seek. I do not see really logic, and we should not forget the accents and the “.”s Janvier: janv. Février: févr. Mars: mars Avril: avr. Mai: mai Juin: juin Juillet: juil. Août: août Septembre: sept. Octobre: oct. ...

It's exact, by selecting English like default language, the format “May 11, 2007” is accepted and functions. But I cannot keep this configuration permanently. In addition, it seems to have several others bugs. - “Duration_is less than_2.04” or “Duration_is equal to_2.04” does not return anything. Th...
