As sturdy as Max was it isn't going to come alive. Even if Stephen could be persuaded to give up the code to someone willing to port it to 64 bit XLD is the better ripper.

XLD may be the standard but every once in a blue moon it fails to convert some FLACs. Max is my go to app in such cases.

And why rip with Max? It did it's service but XLD has far surpassed Max in many regards, chiefly its ripping engine.

Anyone else having troubles with Airplay after upgrading to El Capitan? My issue is Decibel not recognizing there is even an Airplay option, much less remembering which of the two I prefer. Decibel's ease of use with Airplay was why I finally bought into it.

Trash the app itself in /Applications. In your user directories trash the Decibel folder in /Library/Application Support. Also in ~/Library/Preferences trash the two org.sbooth.Decibel.* files.
