If you have Decibel and iTunes both open for a while, and add new songs to iTunes, Decibel won't see them. reactivating Decibel after clean reinstall of OSX

I just had my computer repaired by Apple who cleaned out all my data as part of the process. How can I set up Decibel again? (I had it on computer before the clean, but my old access link no longer works.)

That's great, thanks, I hadn't noticed the Preferences setting to enable/disable digital volume till you said.

digital volume vs. device volume

I am a bit baffled at how to set these. Optimally - to avoid scrambling the input as much as possible - should the digital volume be as low as possible? What I mean is, is there a setting for the digital volume that guarantees bit-perfect playback?
