Skipping to the next track...

Post by ozzybeef » Sat May 26, 2007 2:45 pm

Can you add a button to move to the next track on the list? Like the forward back button in get info on iTunes.

Why? Like in any list (in MacOSX anyway) you can use the page-up and page-down keys to go to the next or previous track.

I think the issue here is that when you use the "next" and "previous" commands in iTunes the cursor remains in the same tag field for the ensuing file. This makes it really easy to add track numbers, titles, or any other information that cannot be batch added. Sure, you can press the down button to choose the next file in the file drawer, but then you have to tab over 5-6 times to get to the appropriate tag field. This can be pretty time consuming when you're dealing with a large number of files.
