paranoia ripper and Intel Macs

Post by sbooth » Tue Jan 02, 2007 7:00 am

Can anyone here confirm that the paranoia ripper from the latest unstable version (currently r1126) is able to correctly extract audio on Intel-based Macs? I unfortunately don't have an Intel Mac for testing and I've received a report that all CDs come out as white noise on Intel machines.

If it's an endian issue, it will be easy to fix, luckily.

Can't test right now, but for whatever it might be worth ...

A couple of days ago I was setting up EAC on a BootCamp install and some popup or whatnot said something about white noise and endian.

What the hey. It is the day after New Year's day after all.

I just downloaded r1126 and tried a couple different paranoia rips with default settings. Nothing but noise.

I've just uploaded r1128, which should fix the problem. Any chance for testing?

1130 does it, but 1132 is fixed. Good job.
Project complete: 625 CDs containing 8574 tracks ripped and scanned.
