Doing away with the ubiquitous "Multiple Tracks"

Post by stuartsa » Mon Aug 03, 2009 7:45 am

Dear Steve:
I am interested in why items ripped from multiple tracks of a CD always come out with the title "Multiple Tracks" and the filename "Multiple Tracks-n.xxx". It seems that the only useful cue sheets created by Max would be those created with the name "Multiple Tracks-n.cue" without any regard to its actual contents. I have to change not only both the filenames but also the filename variable in the text of the cue sheet.

It seems more logical to me for Max to ask for the output title in such an instance. There are often instances where the titles can be simple, such as combining an entire symphony into one file.
