Album Art Alternatives?

Post by 12outof13 » Tue Jan 31, 2012 3:38 pm

The ability to add the album artwork to the recording has not been working for several months now and it appears that it is not being corrected. Has anyone found an alternative software they would recommend that specifically adds the album artwork?

When I overhauled my music collection to include artwork, I found Bliss very useful.

I use Kid3 to edit tags and add artwork.

I will soon be releasing a beta version of Tag, a redesigned version of my open-source tagger. The new version will support album art for most kinds of files:

That will be very much appreciated.

Don't hesitate to call if you need any beta testing.

And, what is it about you and Miss Swift? Does Mrs. Booth know?

I wouldn't say I have a thing for Taylor Swift- it's just that a lot of the audio files I use for testing happen to be her songs. I don't test tag editors on my real music collection for obvious reasons!

I hope to release a beta this weekend for testing. I will post the information in the new Tag forum I've created.

So, does that mean no plans to fix the album art feature of Max? I just discovered Max and I'm impressed and thrilled with it, but having that feature broken is a real bummer.

Max was never really a tag editor, so the two programs are basically orthogonal. I have long-term plans to revamp Max but I am so busy at the moment I have no idea when I will even be able to start.
