*One* song won't encode....

Post by CDJay » Fri Dec 02, 2011 6:59 pm

I've been using Max for about five years and have ripped hundreds of CD's, but I came across something that has never happened before. The 9th song on the "For Colored Girls" soundtrack won't encode. The rest of the CD rips and encodes, but this particular song is hung at the encoding process. I even tried with a second computer, but have the same result.

Very strange. It's like something in its ripped file is telling Max to suspend encoding.

That is very odd. Does the same thing happen if you try a different audio format?

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you on this, but I finally found the time this morning to try other formats. I tried Ogg Vorbis, AAC, FLAC and WAV, and all of them hung in the encoding process of that song while encoding another song. It's very strange, but it appears this song prefers to be off the grid.....
