Ripping to FLAC 24-bit

Post by Googa7753 » Mon Jul 14, 2008 7:04 pm

By default, it seems that Max outputs FLAC files ripped from CD as 44.1kHz/16bit.

I'd like to go up to 48/24, or 96/24.

How do I specify this in Max? I do not see the required options under the Formats tab after pressing the 'encoder settings' button when selecting the built-in FLAC format encoder.

I must be missing something someplace, but I can't find the answer to my question any place.

Thanks a bunch in advance!

You can't rip to anything other than 16 bit, because that is the CDDA format.
