Deleting the org.sbooth.Max.plist file from your Library/Preferences folder should fix the problem.

Tis ok - I used the delete preferences script in the max download folder. Cheers

This issue keeps re-appearing.

I get the error message "Column identifiers used with NSTableView autosave feature must conform to NSCoding protocol", I close Max, run the delete script, start Max, and it rips ok.

A disc or two later and the error message is back.

Does anyone else see the error message keep coming back? Is there a permanent solution?

Whilst deleting the file may "fix" it for a short time its painful as then I have to setup Max again.

You do not have more than one copy of Max installed?

I have one package stored in Applications.

Anywhere else to look?

Well, if you do not know, no one knows. Drag and drop installations are where you drag them, can be anywhere. You could look for installed applications in System Profiler. Each copy is listed separately in System Profiler.

I asked, because I figured that using different versions of Max alternately could cause the error to re-appear.
