Can Max now do all of

Post by rick57 » Mon Apr 28, 2008 1:46 pm

Hi
Can Max now do all of:
Rip into a lossless format, be read by iTunes over a network from a shared NAS; and bring all the tags (inc artist and album) in?
(The Buffalo NAS I’m intending to get is capable of having embedded iTunes “scripts”)

Thanks

That likely depends on your definition of all tags :)

Max should be able to do this, yes, but hasn't been specifically checked with this configuration.

Hi Stephen,

 Which tags would you expect it to bring in?

Thanks

If you are ripping, it should bring it the tags from the disc. Which specific tags depends on the format you are using.

Hi

I understood that it also can be set up to seek cover art and tags off the web and was very good at that, is that correct?

Thanks

There is probably some debate about that, as Max currently uses MusicBrainz which some users are less than thrilled with. :)

The covert art comes from Amazon so should be fairly complete.
