mpc conversion errors. Log instead of halt conversion?

Post by simonm » Wed Jan 30, 2008 6:38 pm

Hi all,

Discovered Max last night and I'm extremely impressed! I'm using Max r1337-unstable on an Intel dual-core Mac-Mini with Leopard.

I have a large (180GB) music collection and have finally got around to cleaning it up. I want to convert everything to MP3 (I have an unholy mess of flac, ogg, mpc, mp3 etc).

About 50% of my mpc files have an issue / error and this halts the conversion process.

So:

- Can I tell Max to continue and log errors, rather than halt conversion every time there's a problem?
- Would you like any of my mpc files to see why there is an issue?

Thanks!

SM

Right now there is no option to log errors instead of displaying an error dialog. This is a feature that will likely be added soon.

If you would send me one of the problematic Musepack files I would appreciate it!
