Changing the sample rate

Post by rmcellig » Tue Oct 23, 2007 6:14 pm

How do I change the sample rate on an MP3 file I would like to convert with Max? In iTunes I just go to the custom option under Advanced/Setting/Custom.

I don't know why
there's no reply

Without further ado
select preferences...
from the Pull down MAX menu

Select MP3
From the 'Formats'
( you''ll get AAC)

The Encoder Settings button
Is on the LH side
click it and you're almost done

I am now using 10.5. After uninstalling Max and reinstalling it, I am still experiencing a strange problem. When I go to preferences, if I select any one of the tabs, I can see the tab listing no problem. I cannot click on the Formats tab to see the contents that this tab is supposed to present.

Is this because I am using 10.5 now?

Thanks for the heads up but it seems that there is no official Leopard release of Max yet. I can hardly wait because I really love using this amazing application!!
