APE to M4A Conversion - Cover Art gets lost

Post by bbrip » Tue Aug 07, 2007 8:22 pm

Hi folks, I'm a starter with MAX. I am trying to convert my APE audio collection into m4a (Apple Lossless). Everything works, except for the fact, that my internally stored cover art in the APE-Files gets lost during conversion.

Is this something on your list to fix?

Cheers

This is a known issue; the APE standard does not specify how cover art should be stored in APE files. Thus, the implementation is up to each player/tagger. If you have an APE file with cover art you could send me I would like to take a look and see if it matches the method used in the ones I already have.

Happy to send you a file. To which e-mail address should it go?

Yes, I'm just extremely busy at the moment and haven't had a chance to look at it.
