"Not authorized to send Apple events to Music"

Post by vigotone »

Just "upgraded" to Catalina. When converting FLACs to ALAC and adding to the Music app, I get "Not authorized to send Apple events to Music". The ALAC files get added to my hard drive, organized properly by folders, but they will not show up in the Music library.

I've tried adding both Music and Max to the Privacy preferences under Files and Folders, Full Disk Access, and Accessibility, but I still get the error message. Any suggestions?

There is an attempted fix for this issue in Max 0.9.2b4.

The betas are posted at https://sbooth.org/Max/ but aren't pushed via Sparkle.
