Beta testing version available: 1.0b5

I'm very pleased to post the first beta test version of the new and improved Tag. Tag is a metadata editor for audio files, and supports FLAC, MP3, Ogg Vorbis, Ogg Speex, MPEG-4, AIFF, WAVE, Musepack, WavPack, and Monkey's Audio files.



Here is a quick rundown of Tag's features:

• Full tag editing support
• Album art support for most formats
• Audio fingerprinting using AcoustID and Echo Nest
• Replay gain calculations for both tracks and albums
• Discogs integration, including album art
• Ability to guess tags based on filename

This is a beta version, and although I have made every attempt to ensure Tag is stable and won't corrupt your audio, the possibility exists. Please use it carefully on backup files until you have established a bond of trust!

Tag requires Mac OS X 10.7 (Lion).

Tag will be distributed via the Mac App Store, so does not support automatic updating in this version. Please check back for updates.
