How do I know D is working in the background?

Post by bgrant » Mon Jan 16, 2012 6:35 pm

I have "obtain exclusive access checked." How do i know that when I am listening to you tube or lastfm that the signal is running thru D? I assume I have to have D open, right? I done some listening A/B tests and cant her any difference when D is open. Is it me? Am I missing something?

Thanks!

It isn't. "Exclusive access" means that when Decibel is playing, the signal from Decibel has exclusive access to the output device and sound from other sources, like sound from YouTube, will be blocked. When Decibel is running but not playing, the exclusive access setting does nothing.

Oh. I see I misunderstood hog mode! I though it meant D took control of input!
