m3u and streamed flux

Post by josquin » Wed Apr 27, 2011 12:43 pm

Hi,

I have made a mistake yesterday, I realize that Decibel manage m3u playlists files, but it doesn't seems to handle streamed flux. Sorry for the confusion.
Anyway, I'd like to know if it is plan to integrate this possibility in a futur release.

Thanks for reading and have a nice day

I probably should know the answer to this, but what do you mean by "streamed flux"?

I mean a file served by an http server, (as in the file attached)

Something like

Code: Select all

#EXTINF:403,Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers - When Your Lover Has Gone
http://www.foobarjo.org:4040/stream?player=48&pathUtf8Hex=2f6175746f6d6e742f6d757369632f41727420426c616b6579202620546865204a617a7a204d657373656e676572732f41204e6967687420696e2054756e697369612f3037202d205768656e20596f7572204c6f7665722048617320476f6e652e666c6163&suffix=.flac
If you want to make test I can PM you a login/pass for my subsonic server.

Streaming audio is something I plan on supporting eventually, but it probably won't be until 2.0 at the earliest.

So I will watch for the v2...

Thanks you a lot for the good job. I'll purchase a copy just for that.

Have a nice day
