Replay gain allows one to specify the relative volume of tracks, so that in players that support it tracks (or albums) will have the same perceived volume. Details are at http://replaygain.hydrogenaudio.org

Rip is able to save replay gain information in FLAC, AIFF, WAVE, and WavPack files.

How can you manually reset the replay gain to 0? When I use Rip and then check the log afterwards all the tracks have been decreased in volume by quite a bit. I don't have that issue when using Max.
